The Body Shop: Fuji Green Tea

Hi!

A few weeks ago I popped into The Body Shop and saw the new Fuji green tea range, which I will just say smells absolutely delightful. I fell in love with this product immediately and as I am a bit of a tea addict the bath tea infuser is possibly one of my favourite products of all time! The bath tea contains real green tea leaves which sit in the infuser while you soak.

This product smells so fresh and certainly awakens my senses, it makes a lovely relaxing bath which helps distress after a long day. I also purchased the body butter from the same range and I can certainly smell this on my skin all day as well as my skin feeling silky soft. It's a win win!

New Products

Hi!

Last week I popped into my local SpaceNK store and lets just say some damage was done!!

Laura Mericer Foundation Primer
This primer is just amazing, my make up lasts all day. It is so smooth to apply and absorbs into the skin within seconds ready for your foundation application. My make-up sits so well on top of this and it has become my go to primer, definitely worth the price!!

Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
I have always struggled to find a concealer I feel works, I've tried all the usual favourites and none have worked as well as I'd hoped. So when I saw this Nars one I thought it's definitely worth a try and it is awesome. It covers my dark circles and brightens my under eye area without looking cakey or settling into any fine lines. If like me you've struggled give this a go.

Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil
I've been contemplating a brighter lip for a while now and eventually just bit the bullet, I was torn between this pink and a red. I ended up choosing Never say Never and I absolutely love it. I have had so many compliments when wearing it. My favourite thing about this pencil is that it is so easy to apply and lasts so long, you can build coverage to. I've lightly applied it for a movie night and then for girls night out applied it slightly heavier to give a more vibrant colour. I think I'll definitely be adding more colours to my collection.

Bedroom Makeover

Hi!

I recently decided to decorate my bedroom, it took me weeks to decide on what colour I wanted and I used Pinterest to try and find some inspiration. I eventually decided to go with cream walls, I knew exactly what I wanted in my mind which made finding the right colour so hard but I came across Valspar  Hope Springs Eternal and instantly knew this was my colour.  I then decided that I would have a grey carpet to create a cosy environment which I absolutely love.

All of my furniture is from Ikea apart from my bed (which I've had quite a while and is from Argos)

Baby Shower

Hi!

Yesterday I attended a friend’s baby shower, it was so much fun. We played a few games, all of which were teams games with the options of some great names (Sudocrem, Dummies, Pampers and Huggies). The games were guess the chocolate nappy, guess the artist of songs (baby related of course) and make a nappy on a team member from toilet role in 1 minute, like I said lots of fun.
The baby shower was brilliantly planned, right from the invite to the afternoon itself.

Below are a few of my favourite pictures......

Above the amazing invite we received

To the left is an amazing gift (we all put a copy of our finger print and signed our name)
                                        A fruit Baby

Another amazing gift (nappies, Scratch mits and bibs)

And finally the Thank You from the mother to be and that extra special touch.

Favourite Rewards Cards

Hi!

I thought I'd do a little post on my top 3 points cards, in my opinion the 3 cards below are just the best and everyone should have the in their purse or card holder.

The Boots Advantage Card....
Surely everyone has one of these little beauties right?!?! Its a great reward scheme whereby you receive 4 points for every £1 you spend, your points add up to money value which then allows you to use it to purchase that extra treat you may after or if you wish to save some pennies you can purchase everyday goods. Boots have also recently made an App which gives you special offers based on items you purchase as well as some general offers.

The Body Shop Card....
I randomly got this card a few years back and honestly I have never regretted it. Each time you shop in store you receive 10% off your purchase, every 4th stamp earns you a free gift worth £5 and every 8 stamps earns a £10 free gift. As well as this you also receive a £5 free gift for your birthday. Your gift can be higher than the value you just pay the outstanding price.
There is a cost for the card (£5) but I totally think it is worth it especially if you shop in the Body shop a lot, which in my case I certainly do!

N.duldge SpaceNK Card....
This is by far my most favourite of these 3 points cards, you receive 1 point for every £1 you spend in SpaceNK and once you receive 100 points you get £5 off your next purchase. This card also has other benefits like receiving a birthday treat, new product previews and exclusive invitations.

Afternoon Tea

Hi!

Not so long ago a friend of mine visited from London and as we were both celebrating our birthdays, I planned an exciting few days; one of which was afternoon tea (I'm a bit of a tea addict!). We opted for confections afternoon tea at Cafe 21 in Fenwicks,

There was a great assortment of cakes and sweet treats. I have to say it was lovely afternoon, we laughed, chatted and enjoyed a good old catch up. I would highly recommend it to anyone.
